Housekeeping Department

• Muskoka Bible Centre has a variety of rooms where we offer accommodations for our summer programming, as well as retreat guests September through June

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day to day cleaning of guest rooms, which includes cleaning toilets, making beds, vacuuming carpets, washing floors. Assisting with the setting up of meeting spaces and common areas. Daily Room refreshes, packing laundry bags
• Complies with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Policy by being aware of your responsibilities and act accordingly; working in the safest possible manner

Hours of Work

• Up to 40 hours per week
• Physically demanding, heavy lifting involved, weekend work would be required

Compensation

• Hourly wage based on experience
• Staff discounts, meals and uniforms as per our Staff Handbook

Qualifications

• A committed follower of Jesus Christ
• A servant attitude toward serving MBC guests
• A solid work ethic, an eye for “the big picture” and is willing/ready to serve others
• Signed agreement to the Muskoka Bible Centre Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct
